YOU COULD WIN THE NATIONAL CHARITY COCKTAIL CHALLENGE TITLE, CASH PRIZES AND HELP CONTRIBUTE TO THE FOLDED FLAG FOUNDATION VETERANS CHARITY!
Local bartenders in ten cities will compete for their city’s top CCC Bartender bragging rights and win a trip to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans to compete at the national level for the Grand Prize of $2,500.00 and be featured in a media campaign!
First place: Competing at the national level at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans! We will also feature your winning cocktail recipe in a national media campaign.
Second place: $1,500 and an engraved copper julep cocktail cup and a specially engraved crystal decanter
Third place: $750 and an engraved copper julep cocktail cup and a specially engraved crystal decanter
The Grand Prize winner from Tales of the Cocktail takes home $2,500 in cash!
In addition, all competitors will receive a Swag Bag from Four Roses Bourbon.
FOUR ROSES BOURBON CHARITY COCKTAIL CHALLENGE
All Competitors MUST ARRIVE AN HOUR prior to the start of the event.
All Competitors MUST WORK in the MARKET WHERE THEY ARE COMPETING
Opening remarks by a Four Rose RSM
Attendees will draw #s that will dictate the order of the evening
Competitors will have 5 minutes to prep and gather their ingredients; a barback from the venue will be available to assist
While one Bartender is creating his/her drink for the judges, the bartender immediately following must be on deck and prepping
Each cocktail must contain a minimum of 1.5 ounces Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon. This is the only expression to be used in the cocktail recipe.
Bartenders will be given 3 minutes to prepare their cocktail for the judges – 2 cocktails for the 3 judges; 1 for photography (the judges will straw taste their drink)
At the end of your creation, after you’ve laid your drink down on the bar, you will then explain to the judges why you prepared the drink you did
After you’ve made your cocktail, the drink will be passed to a small panel of judges who will score the cocktail
You will be judged on the following:

At the end of the night judges will select their top 3 cocktails/bartenders
The top bartender will move on to the Finals at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
The Final Competition will be on Thursday, July 21 at 10:30 AM. Here the bartenders from all 10 cities will compete.
In the event the semi-finalist can not participate, the runner up will move on to the competition. The local market winner must let us know within SEVEN DAYS of the local competition whether or not they can participate in the Final Competition.
