Brent’s Pick: Autumn Favorites

When the summer’s winding down and fall is just beginning, I immediately start reflecting on September’s Kentucky Bourbon Festival. It’s such a great opportunity for us to host guests from all over the country and the world and show them why Kentucky and Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey are so special. I also start thinking about the Bourbon Chase, a 200-mile running relay across the Bluegrass State that winds its way through the historic Kentucky Bourbon Trail. This time of year, I like to take a “fall break” to spend some more time with my family before the holidays roll in. I also enjoy spending more time outdoors, ideally with an old fashioned around a campfire. It’s my favorite standard cocktail year-round, but during the fall I like to add an extra dash of bitters. Get our classic Old Fashioned recipe and sip with me this season.
