Louisville Loves the Holiday Spirit

We’ve teamed up with local bars and restaurants in the popular NuLu area of downtown Louisville, Kentucky to handcraft Four Roses holiday cocktails for the 5th Annual NuLuDays Holiday Cocktail Challenge.
Those in the area are invited to visit participating bars and restaurants to taste the cocktails and vote for their favorite from November 30 through December 20 on the NuluDays website. For more details about this annual competition, check out the Facebook event.
We also encourage you to handcraft some of these cocktails at home over the holidays, so we’ve shared the recipes below. Tag us when you post your cocktail creations on your favorite social media channel so we can check out your take on these holiday libations.

Against the Grain Brewery
Bartender: Trisha Torpey
Cocktail: Chai Need a Holiday
Ingredients:
2 oz. Four Roses Small Batch
1/2 oz. Rosemary Apple Chai Syrup
2 oz. Cranberry Juice
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Build: Add all ingredients into a mason jar, fill with ice and stir. Strain into a rocks glass with a 2-inch cube. Garnish with an orange peel.
Garage Bar
Bartender: Dante Wheat Jr.
Cocktail: Thurman Murman
Ingredients:
2 oz. Four Roses Small Batch
1/4 oz. Creme De Cacao
1/4 oz. House-made Coffee Syrup
2 dashes Mole Bitters
1 dash Hellfire Bitters
Build: Combine ingredients in highball glass, add ice, stir. Garnish with lemon peel.
Rye
Bartender: Kelsey Hofmann
Cocktail: There Goes Christmas
Ingredients:
1 1/4 oz. Four Roses Small Batch
3/4 oz. Borghetti
1/2 oz. Zirbenz Pine Needle Liquor
1/2 oz. Becherovka
Build: Combine all ingredients in shaker with ice, stir and double strain into coupe glass.
Taj Louisville
Bartender: Travis Shireman
Cocktail: A Night at the Movies
Ingredients:
2 oz. Butter Fat Washed and Popcorn Infused Small Batch
1/2 oz. Soda Syrup Reduction
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
1/4 oz. Saline Solution
Popcorn and Candy Garnish
Build: Combine ingredients, shake and double strain into glass.
Nouvelle Bar & Bottle
Bartender: John Grisanti
Cocktail: Winter’s Heart
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Four Roses Small Batch
½ oz. Pomegranate Syrup
4 oz. Prosecco
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Luxardo Cherry
Build: Mix Four Roses Small Batch, Pomegranate Syrup and 2 dashes Angostura Bitters in shaker with ice, strain into glass and top with Prosecco. Add Luxardo Cherry and garnish with an orange peel.
