We’re Expanding Our Visitor Center
blog | 11/19/2020
We’re excited to announce our plans for the expansion and enhancements of our visitor center at the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Ky. The new 14,446-square-foot visitor center will be modeled after the existing Spanish mission-style structures unique to Four Roses by Louisville, Ky. based architecture firm Joseph & Joseph + Bravura, who designed the original distillery in 1910.
We’re expanding the visitor center to accommodate for growing demand in the Bourbon tourism industry, thanks to our loyal friends like you. We are expecting the project to be completed by the end of next year, and it will include:
- New state-of-the-art bar featuring cocktails and tastings of our current Bourbon portfolio and exclusive product tastings
- Four new seated tasting rooms offering a space for enhanced educational experiences
- Updated retail gift shop with Four Roses products and other branded merchandise for sale
- Outdoor patio space where visitors can enjoy our beautiful distillery grounds
The visitor center will also offer interactive, educational experiences dedicated to the rich 132-year history of the Four Roses brand, including an interactive display showcasing archived Four Roses bottlings, vintage advertisements and other memorabilia.
We can’t wait to share more information about this ongoing project with you all and look forward to welcoming you to see the updated visitor center at the end of next year. In the meantime, please feel free to come see us now as we are open for retail during regular business hours.
