Taste of the Highlands
February 25 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm UTC+0
Join us as we present the 4th annual Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras celebration of The Highlands of Louisville’s Restaurant Row. Featuring savory and sweet tastes from the city’s best collection of local, unique, and eclectic restaurants paired with one of our distinct Bourbon cocktails, along with unique reds and whites by Old 502 Winery, local craft brews by False Idol Brewing, Winchester, Kentucky’s Ale-8-One soft drink, freshly brewed Highland Coffee, and Louisville Pure Tap. This event support Highlands Community Ministries, helping neighbors in need of food, emergency financial help, and quality-of-life programs.
Live Bourbon Jazz by the Billy Goat Strut Revue will fill the air with the sounds of New Orleans. Guests will enjoy a festival atmosphere in the bustling community center, the Highlands Community Campus, an antique former German church and building that prominently sits at the convergence of the Original Highlands, Paristown Pointe, and Germantown/Paristown Neighborhoods on the corner of Barret Ave. and Breckinridge St., and houses the main operations of Highlands Community Ministries.
Your all-inclusive ticket allows you to sample all of the foods, spirits and Bourbons, and beverages offered. Guests must be at least 21 years of age and tickets also available for purchase at the event.
