Combine all ingredients in mule mug and add ice.

Hot Water

Fill coffee mug with hot water. Once heated, discard.
Combine bourbon, rum mix, and hot water in coffee mug.
Stir to incorporate.

Batter:
½ cup Unsalted butter
2/3 cup Brown sugar
1/4 cup Honey
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
¼ tsp Ground ginger and anise (plus more of each for garnish)
1/8 tsp White pepper
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 cups Powdered Sugar
Heat and stir butter, sugar, honey, and spices in a medium-sized saucepan.
Once mixture begins to bubble, turn off heat.
Stir in vanilla extract.
In a separate container, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar. Add desired amounts of ground ginger and anise to whipped cream.
