The Old Fashioned is a cocktail with a rich history, much like the Four Roses brand. Legend has it, that in the 1880s, a bartender at Louisville’s historic Pendennis Club created the concoction, and it became the first mixed drink to be called a cocktail.

Elliott’s Select is a limited-quantity Single Barrel Bourbon and marks the first limited edition bottling released by Brent Elliott, our master distiller.
Brent Elliott, who assumed the post of master distiller in September 2015, personally hand-selected the 14-year-old OESK, one of the Distillery’s 10 unique Bourbon recipes.

Bottling is master distiller’s first solo release
Four Roses Bourbon will release Elliott’s Select, a limited-quantity Single Barrel Bourbon, in June. This barrel-strength Bourbon will be Brent Elliott’s first limited edition release as master distiller.
We recently received several accolades at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, including the prestigious 2016 Director’s Award, which recognizes and rewards an outstanding portfolio that has delivered in quality, specifically the 2015 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon.
In addition, we earned Double Gold for both our Single Barrel and 2015 Limited Edition Small Batch. Our Yellow Label Bourbon received Gold recognition.
Next month, Bourbon lovers from all over the world will come together in Louisville, Kentucky for The Kentucky Bourbon Affair, the ultimate Bourbon fantasy camp. You can join Four Roses Bourbon for behind-the-scenes access, rare tastings and more.
