2020 Limited Edition Small Batch

We can hardly wait for the release of our 2020 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon later this month. Non-chill filtered and bottled at a 111.4 proof, the special bottling features four different hand-selected batches aged 12 to 19 years. These batches represent four of our distillery’s 10 distinct Bourbon recipes – a 12-year-old Bourbon from the OBSV recipe, a 12-year-old OESV, a 16-year-old OESK, and a 19-year-old OBSK.

Master Distiller Brent Elliott says, “Each batch in this year’s limited edition bottling is an exceptional whiskey that could have stood on its own as a single barrel offering, but in this case the sum is even greater than the parts. Together these bring a perfect balance of bright, vibrant flavors and aromas from the 12 and 16-year-old barrels combined with the oak tones and aged expressions from the 19-year-old batch.”

The special bottling rolls out to select retailers across the country in late September, but we will also offer a limited quantity for sale at the Four Roses Distillery Visitor Center via a public lottery draw.

While we normally look forward to greeting Bourbon lovers from across the country as they line up at our Visitor Centers to get their hands on a bottle of our latest release of Limited Edition Small Batch, this year will look a bit different.

If you want to get your hands on a bottle, you can sign-up for the public lottery from August 25 to September 9. Those who are selected via random draw will be emailed to schedule appointments to pick up their purchase at the Four Roses Distillery between September 19 – 30. Terms and conditions apply.
